        Privacy Commitment: Clause is built with a "Privacy by Design" philosophy. We believe your legal documents are yours alone.
    

1. On-Device Processing (No Cloud)

Clause uses Apple's CoreML technology to process all text and legal documents directly on your device. Unlike traditional AI assistants, Clause never uploads your documents, snippets, or any text to a cloud server for analysis. Everything stays on your iPhone or iPad.

2. No Personal Data Collection

We do not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information (PII).

No Account Required: You can use all features of Clause without creating an account or providing an email address.
No Document Storage: We do not have access to the files you import into the app. They are stored locally in the app's secure sandbox environment.

3. Third-Party Services

Clause does not share data with any third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google). All machine learning models are bundled within the application and run locally.

4. Data Security

Since your data remains on your device, it is protected by the robust security and encryption standards of the iOS operating system. We recommend using FaceID, TouchID, or a strong passcode to secure your device.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
